Price Match Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

BoxSafe Storage (“BoxSafe”, “we”, “us”, “our”) offers a Price Match Guarantee to ensure customers receive competitive pricing on comparable storage services. The following terms and conditions apply.

  1. Eligibility

1.1 The Price Match Guarantee applies to self-storage services offered by BoxSafe Storage within the United Kingdom.
1.2 The competing offer must be:

  • From a UK-based storage provider
  • Publicly available at the time of the request
  • For a comparable storage unit size and type
  • Located within a reasonable geographic proximity to the BoxSafe facility (normally within the same city or local area)
  1. Comparable Service Definition

To qualify, the competing offer must be genuinely comparable, including:

  • The same or equivalent unit size (square footage or cubic capacity)
  • Similar access conditions (e.g. indoor/outdoor, access hours)
  • Comparable security features
  • Equivalent minimum rental period
  • The same billing structure (weekly/monthly)

Services that include materially different features, restrictions, or conditions may be deemed non-comparable at our discretion.

  1. Proof of Competitor Price

3.1 Customers must provide clear evidence of the competing offer, such as:

  • A website link
  • A screenshot showing price, unit size, location, and provider name
    3.2 Verbal quotes, expired promotions, or personalised offers are not accepted.
  1. Exclusions

The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Auction, clearance, liquidation, or distress pricing
  • Introductory, first-month-only, or time-limited promotional discounts
  • Membership-only, corporate, student, or bundled offers
  • Prices that include incentives such as gift cards, cashback, or free services
  • Errors, misprints, or pricing mistakes on third-party websites
  1. Timing of Requests

5.1 Price match requests must be submitted before the start of the rental agreement or at the time of booking.
5.2 Requests made after a contract has commenced may be declined.

  1. Price Match Adjustment

6.1 If approved, BoxSafe will match the verified competitor price for the agreed rental period.
6.2 The price match applies only to the base rental rate and does not include optional extras or ancillary services unless explicitly stated.

  1. Right to Refuse or Withdraw

7.1 BoxSafe reserves the right to:

  • Verify all submitted information
  • Decline requests that do not meet these terms
  • Withdraw the Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice
  1. Fair Use

The Price Match Guarantee is intended for genuine customer benefit. Abuse of the policy, including repeated or misleading claims, may result in refusal of service.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
